1 minute sketches
I've been doing this warm up exercise lately where I do a "complete" sketch in 1 minute. This helps me stop worrying about what it looks like, loosen up and just get an idea down on paper. It's been fun.

Daytime Emmy
Abby's Flying Fairy School and Pete de Seve won a Daytime Emmy for character design. Pretty cool.--update--
Our art director David Michael Friend also deserves a big congratulations too. A project like this is a team effort and David really did an amazing job of translating Pete's work into the 3D realm. He just posted some of his thoughts on his blog. Check it out.
