Nice one Jake! Great idea making him a super hero... Garbage Man literally cleaning up the streets. Great action lines!
You know, I took some sculpting classes a couple of years back and something that it engraved in me since then was the idea of occupying space. Everything, even if it's forshortened needs to be accounted for... even when you don't see it. Garbage Man's arms feel like they've shrunk because the space that they're occupying isn't being accounted for. Try drawing around his arms when you're sketching. Draw all the way around the sholders, around the bicep, around the forarm... draw the front of the arm, the back of the arm, the part of the arm that's hidden by the garbage lid. You'll start having a ton of fun once you start applying this idea regularly.
Sorry this comment was so long man. Thanks for contributing so much to the sketch thread. I could see learned elements being applied and growth in your work since your earlier posts. Nice stuff man, keep it coming! ;)
