My youngest brother was in town this week and then I got sick over the weekend. I missed my mountain bike race but I still managed to get three pages done. Louie's story is starting to get interesting! Read the story so far here.
Thanks for the complement Steve. Actually spotting blacks is something that I really struggle with. I've heard artist say things like when in doubt add more black. I know it can be a light and shadow thing. But often the best results don't always match a light source and they just feel right. I tend to like the artist who spot their blacks a little more abstractly. I'm working on it. But it will probably be awhile till I can get the results you get in you Croaker's Gorge.
